Brief support specific to your LEA, school or student. This begins with an initial phone call or Zoom meeting to determine appropriate support which may include:

  • Problem-solving support
  • Guiding and supporting you through using our resources to provide your own training
  • Virtual observations
  • Training (virtual or in-person)

Long-term support (Targeted Technical Assistance) requires an LEA or school commitment to long-term systemic change. The SESTA team works with your team(s) to identify systemic needs in the areas of special education processes, universal systems, targeted intervention systems, and intensive systems of support. LEA/school teams will participate with SESTA through a 6-step process, which includes:

  1. Conduct needs assessment(s)
  2. Review and analyze data
  3. Set measurable goals based on data analysis and needs assessment
  4. Create an action plan
  5. Implement the action plan
  6. Evaluate progress toward goals

Support throughout this process is individualized to LEA/school needs and may include ongoing coaching or consultation, onsite training, virtual check-ins, and/or specialized training by position or topic. To request, submit a Help Desk Request.
